Current Affairs (Glasgow, UK-SCOTLAND)

Current Affairs more or less formed in spring, 2016. It came from an amalgamation of different bands and friends relocating and shifting through the UK underground scene. The band quickly took shape with a live set that was direct, emotive and danceable with a sound that is cold, sharp and a certain wall-of-sound tendency. Drawing from new wave's pot a mix of tuneful catchy pop and chorus ridden flicks the band sits on a humble yet strong spot between Belinda Carlisle and Kleenex/LiLiPut, throwing in a bit of B-52's tomfoolery maintaining it 100% DIY.
