Magic Giant (Los Angeles, CA)

Genre:Folk

NPR proclaimed, “This L.A. indie-folk band has a festival anthem on its hands,” and since then MAGIC GIANT has moved bodies and souls in over thirty cities across North America this year. They have sold out legendary venues ranging from the Troubadour in Los Angeles to Mercury Lounge in New York City to The Silver Dollar Room in Toronto, headlining festivals like RiSE for 14,000 people in the Mojave Desert and events like Rock the Vote in Austin, Texas. Their latest release, “Set On Fire,” charted at #4 on Spotify’s US Viral 50. The band—composed of Austin on lead vocals; Zambricki on banjo, mandolin, and fiddle; and Brian on upright bass and acoustic guitar—has built a reputation for its infectious sing-alongs and communal live experiences, blending folk instruments with big drums and dance rhythms. They are currently working on their sophomore EP from their 1940’s bomb-shelter-turned-studio in Silver Lake, California.
