<p>Polock burst onto the scene in April 2010 with an album that got an unusual impact for a debut of a Spanish group. 'Getting down from the trees' was published in the US, Canada, Mexico, Japan, UK, France, Germany, Switzerland and Austria. Their concert in Tokyo was sold out and all its merchandising and cd's where sold even before going on stage. In Paris they played in a crowded Olympia Theater and then on the Rock en Seine Festival being Artic Monkeys the main act later that day. They did two tours through UK and Europe. Their performance at the South By Southwest during their US Tour was highlighted by Billboard and they sold out tickets in Washington, Los Angeles and New York. In Los Angeles they were presented in a KCRW party at Bardot by Chris Douridas as 'the next big thing'. They were single of the Week on iTunes US and iTunes Mexico with 'Fireworks'. Back in Europe, La Blogotheque chose them for its first recording in Spain. The swedish djs Lo-Fi Fnk remixed it. Their music has been featured in TV ads in Spain and the US. 'Getting down from the trees' received the Independent Music Award (Spain) for Best Musical Production.</p><p>"Rising Up" Preparation of 'Rising up' took eighteen months, and it was recorded during the spring and summer months of 2013 between the study and a house by the Mediterranean where the sun light permeated every track on the disc. The mastering ran under Dave McNair (Bowie, Dylan, Maroon 5, Beck, etc.). The album was produced by the band itself and the videoclip for its first single "Everlasting" was directed by one of the band's member Pablo Silva being premiered on CMJ's official web and released worldwide on April 1st on Vevo's official channel. It was even announced on TVE News (Spain's National Broadcasting). On September "Everlasting" was included in the soundtrack for the EA Sports videogame "FIFA 15". Their song "Hockney" was included in the last episodes of the american TV series Royal Pains. They were nominated for the MTV EMA 2014 into the Best Spanish Artist category. Now, They're recording their third studio album.</p>
