East of My Youth (Reykjavík, ICELAND)

East of My Youth is an Icelandic electro pop duo made up of Thelma Marín Jónsdóttir and Herdís Stefánsdóttir. Their melodic, electronic pop draws its influences from various genres and moods from classical music and film scores, to ambient, hardcore techno or the weather. Listening to East of My Youth is ‘as sensual and addictive as getting your tongue frozen to a glacier of pure honey!’. They have recently played Airwaves, live at KEXP radio and at Sonar Reykjavik. They are now working on East of My Youth debut EP to be released in 2016.
