After earning praise from MTV to Relix for their breakout single "Don’t Ask Me Why," six-piece anthemic indie rockers Great Caesar relocated from Brooklyn to the Hamptons this past winter to prepare for their first US tour and to finish writing their follow-up EP, 'Jackson's Big Sky,' due out this spring. Living together in such close quarters proved to be an invaluable experience for the band, both for personal bonding and for their creative output, which was partly inspired by a life-changing performance for more than 100 inmates at the Marion Correctional Institution in Ohio. Recorded with producers Ryan Hadlock (The Lumineers, Vance Joy) and Gary Atturio, the songs on 'Jackson's Big Sky' showcase the band's remarkable growth and maturity in the short time since their debut release, with sophisticated arrangements full of dreamy guitars, lush horns, and infectious melodies.
