Patterns is a Central American based project, combining three nationalities: Costa Rica, France and Guatemala. With the release of their first single Sunny Days, the “Tropical Nu-Disco” band -as classified by MTV IGGY- launched to the public in 2013. In June 2013 and after three live performances, their debut album Dangerous Intentions was released for sale and reached the most sold album position for several weeks on iTunes Costa Rica. Up to date it still remains between the Top 20 most sold albums on this platform. Dangerous Intentions includes a Sunny Days Remix by the recognized French producer Fred Falke. The remix has been positioned on the top charts of most sold remixes on important online music stores and it became a frequent tune on the best rated clubs around the world. Their debut musical video Sunny Days was directed by the Australian duo “Krozm” and was supported by the platform Noisey of Vice Magazine. The video received thousands of views in just a couple of days and also many positive feedback from various music blogs worldwide. The launch of the second single “Burning Man” was received as well as the former one and even meant an important Brand Sponsorship for the band by a Costa Rican premium beer named Bavaria. Patterns won “Artist of the Week” of MTV IGGY, beating various recognized bands in Europe and Latin America. HBO’s show “Looking” featured "Burning Man" in it’s second season soundtrack, this 2015. This November the band is about to launch their recently recorded new EP “Shout”. The band just finished a tour in California, spreading their unique groove and contagious energy to places like San Diego and Hollywood. In its international shows, Patterns has shared scenario with Cut-Copy, Cultura Profética, MoonBoots, Plastic Pates, Pillow Talk, LeYouth, Moullinex, among others, and collaborated with Fred Falke and Tesla Boy, both remixing Patterns songs.
