Que (London, ENG)

Genre:Hip-Hop / Rap

Although Que is no longer a newcomer to the music scene, after his street single “Young N*gga” featuring Migos went viral in 2013, so did his name, likeness and status. The single, produced by Grammy Nominated producer and close friend, Sonny Digital, was featured on the now classic mixtape Forbes Atlanta. He continued to release favored tracks such as “O’Neal” and “OG Bobby Johnson” which began blowing up in the streets and catching the attention of both the music industry and music fans. He soon landed a label deal with Atlantic Records and continued to release a string of increasingly popular follow-up tracks such “Rich Problems” featuring 2 Chainz, and “Too Much” featuring Trey Songz.

Que and his team chose the old-school grassroots method of marketing and nurturing personal relationships. They go to clubs, shake hands with each DJ, and continue to building his brand. It’s that hands-on approach that has opened up a floodgate of opportunities for Que including collabs with artists such as T.I., Juicy J, Ty Dolla Sign, August Alsina and many more to add to his growing resume. He also holds writing credits for established artists such as Ludacris, Kevin Gates, and Young Jeezy, just to name a few.

Performing alongside artists such as Snoop Dogg, Wiz Khalifa, and Juvenile, Que has also landed features in XXL, Complex, and Fader publications. His new EDM record “Who Wanna Play”, with collaborations with EDM producers Lex Lugar and ATrak and friends Sonny Digital and Metro Boomin, shows his diversity in the music business and has been featured on FOX’s Empire and CSI:Cyber.

Hard work is key when it comes to bringing one’s dreams into reality and Que is the poster child for perseverance. His latest single “Gucci Said”, produced by Sonny Digital hit the internet by storm and sparked the beginning of a new project for Sonny and Que picked up by eOne, which is set to release in 2016.

Now 25 years old, with his individual artistry, hustle, and constant drive, Que is set to make a wave in the industry with the release of his next solo project, I Am Que. On this mixtape, he chose to have no features, simply because this project doesn’t need it, “It’s about me, I Am Que.” Set to release in November 2015, I Am Que shows that this Indie artist doesn’t have writers block and has no plans to stop making his mark on the industry anytime soon.
