January May is an indie pop trio based out of Austin, TX. Their sound has been described as "immediately identifiable" by Belk's Southern Musician Showcase, further explaining their songs to include "shape-shifting soundscapes, heart-pounding percussion and dreamy vocal harmonies." The band began in 2012 in the small town of Union, Missouri. Their debut album Troublemade was independently released in 2014.
