Eureka the Butcher is the solo project of multi-instrumentalist and producer Marcel Rodriguez-Lopez. He is best known as the keyboardist and percussionist of The Mars Volta and the drummer, producer & engineer for Zechs Marquise. His sound is grounded in Afro Carribean music, with traces of heavy bass and psychedelia. Eureka's live show is a testament to his eclectic sound, ability to multitask, and never ending pursuit of a different approach.
