Hailing from Austin, Nikes has been one of the foremost advocates for spreading the Footwork/Juke sound in Texas. As a Resident DJ for 4 years at Barcelona, one of Austin's most notorious dance clubs, Nikes created a party called "808K" along with best friend and DJ/Producing partner Lefty, and brought some of the most iconic acts within the Footwork/Juke community such as the late great DJ Rashad, DJ Spinn, Traxman, and most recently DJ Paypal. Now focusing on original productions, Nikes is looking to emerge as a headlining act alongside the new wave of young talented electronic musicians.
