Sol Flamingo is a band from Mexico City, who began their career in 2012 thanks to a competition organized by Channel 11, called Rock in Contact. "Caravana" is their first single of which they unveiled to the public, which attracted the attention of Gordon Raphael, the producer of "The Strokes". With the support of Gordon the band recorded their first album named "Viento Eléctrico". During 2015, the band was on tour performing in the main cities of The Mexican Republic. Sol Flamingo´s sound is categorized as a fresh new type of soft rock without losing their vintage touch. In 2016 they will launch their second album that will be performed on the SXSW 2016 festival.
