THEM GUNS

When you spend time with the band members of Them Guns, it is easy to see that the camaraderie they share both on and off stage is genuine, not contrived. Though music is their common bond, the four guys who make up Them Guns are more than just band mates - they are family. Their debut album, From the Shadows, infuses their natural chemistry with their respective musical talents creating a raw mix of rock n roll grunge with synth-driven electronica.

When singer/guitarist Navarone Garibaldi and keyboardist Kyle Hamood came together in Santa Cruz, California to create the band Them Guns in 2010, neither were aware they had already met. A 1980s chance encounter at a pool in Hawaii is where the two L.A. natives were first introduced. Back then, Garibaldi and Hamood did not know they would cross paths again nearly twenty years later to form Them Guns. It was Hamood's parents, upon hearing his band mate's unique first name, who recalled the two boys meeting years earlier in Hawaii. After Garibaldi and Hamood decided to move forward with Them Guns, they began an extensive search for their perfect band mates.

Garibaldi's high school friend, Chris Hudson, played drums in an L.A. based band. When Garibaldi and Hamood moved back to Los Angeles in 2012, Hudson's L.A. band was in the process of breaking up. After the break up, Hudson officially joined forces with Them Guns as their full-time drummer, and recruited bass player and former bandmate, Chuck Holiday. With a completed band, Them Guns began to create their original sound.

Them Guns' music incorporates the band's eclectic taste, while each member blends their own personal talents and musical inspirations. "We all bring different influences to the table, whether it is Queens of the Stone Age, Daft Punk, Nine Inch Nails or The Chemical Brothers, and we just kind of throw it all together," Garibaldi said. "Personally, I like to tell stories that haven't been told before. I also find inspiration in how the music makes me feel."

Them Guns has been amassing a large and loyal fan following with sold-out performances at prestigious venues that include The Viper Room, Hollywood Troubadour, The Whiskey, The Yost, San Francisco's The Boom Boom Room, Bardot, and more. They recently returned from their debut jaunt to the UK, which was well received by the press.

Them Guns' sound, both in studio and on-stage is as powerful and aggressive as it is engaging. Looking toward the future, Them Guns is ready to take the music world by storm with some exciting new projects slated for release in 2016.
