Twenty-one year old Eloïse has a “penchant for writing catchy, electronic noir-pop” (The Telegraph). Making the move from Suffolk to East London a few years ago, her love for classic cinema and 1980’s beauty pageants collided with the ‘delights’ of dating as a
millennial, fighting the stereotypical perceptions of women today. Films like Labyrinth, Natural Born Killers and Miss Congeniality meld together to provide a backdrop for Eloïse and the world she lives in. Everything is exaggerated, tongue in cheek and self-aware. Shaking off comparison with Lana Del Rey, she is all about piecing together references through a world view that is purely her own.
Eloïse was completing her A Levels when she teamed up with producer Rory Simmons (Bat For Lashes) and released her debut ‘Studio 54’. Soon, tastemaker websites such as The Line of Best Fit and The 405 lauded her sonorous, mature vocals and dark drama.
In 2019 she embarked upon a new chapter, learning to produce her own music. Frustrated with trying sessions with producers who couldn’t understand her point of view or the stories she was trying to tell she took the reins and produced the ‘Designed for Your Pleasure' EP.
