True Creature is the solo moniker for Vancouver based electronic composer Andrea Cowan-Cosmatos. Through her explorations with analog synthesizers, theremin, drum-machines and effects, Cowan-Cosmatos cultivates an expanding tonal palette and composes conceptual pieces to pique the imagination. Drawing inspiration from the surrounding bounty of life found in the forests of British Columbia, Cowan-Cosmatos gracefully crafts warm tones and vibrant textures to vividly construct her own fantasy worlds.
