MAMAMOO is a girl group composed of 4 girls, Solar, Moon Byul, Whee In and Wha sa. With explosive vocal and fantastic performance, MAMAMOO became one of the top girl groups in Korea. Since 2014 and their debut song 'Mr. Ambiguous', the team has continuously delivered awesome songs to the public.Korean top producer Kim Do Hoon himself discovered and produced the girls and presented his first and finest masterpiece ‘MAMAMOO’to the public with confidence. The team name ‘MAMAMOO’ is from a word ‘MAMA’ which is the first sound that people makes after birth, and it shows their will to do friendly and intimate music for the whole world. In the debut year, MAMAMOO received two awards respectively from '2014 SEOUL SUCCESS AWARDS’and Gaon Chart K-POP AWARDS for Rookie of the year. Moreover, in 2015, the team was named one of the Top 5 K-Pop Artists to Watch in 2015 by Billboard. On June 2015, MAMAMOO came back with its second album Pink Funky and the title song 'Um Oh Ah Yeh' with younger and fresher looks and proved their presence by making their album ranked on top of 6 Korean major online charts.
